Today is the day our country sets aside to honor the men and women who have served and are currently serving in the military, and as a grateful American I would like to personally say, "Thank You!" I have always had a deep respect and admiration for America's military, but as my son completed 4 years of ROTC training and then continued on to Active Duty with the Army, I have experienced the military at a more personal level and have come to see the duty, honor, and sacrifice military personnel and their families make. Our country owes them alot.
We should never take our freedom for granted and never forget that America is the beacon of freedom to the world. I am so thankful to the men and women in the military who have protected our nation and continue to keep us safe and secure against countries and regimes that hate and envy our way of life.
To my son Eric: Thank you for a job well done in Iraq and your continued service. AA!
To my Uncle Robin: Thank you for your years of service in the Air Force-- WWII, Korea, & Viet Nam
To Cousin Nik: currently serving in Iraq with the Air Force, thank you!
