Reassurance from the Book of Daniel

This past Sunday our pastor taught Pt. 1 of an overview of the book of Daniel in preparation for a line by line study in the book of Revelation that is coming up in 2 weeks. Daniel is such an interesting book! It is so connected to Revelation and the prophecies in that book. I am digging out the Beth Moore study in Daniel that my mother-in-law gave to me so Chris and I can do further study before we get into Revelation.

Here are some of the truths that the Lord “underlined” for me as we began the study in Daniel:

~The future is in God’s hands alone.
~God is always in control.
~When God says He will do something, then it will happen.
~God is faithful to keep His Word even when it’s a warning.
~God apportions grace for every need.
~God is in control, absolutely sovereign, never shaken, and nothing can detour His plan for the ages.

These are all things that I found very comforting for personal reasons, as well as intriguing and comforting in light of our current political climate.
